Jesus follower, wife, mother, and your newest hype gal.
Hey Gorgeous!
I’m Rebecca Lynn
a bit about me
Born and raised in a little town outside of Knoxville, Tennessee and I couldn't imagine living anywhere else. I LOVE to travel and see the world (be sure to check out my bucket list destinations!) but towards the end of my trips I think of an old sweatshirt my grandma used to wear that said, "the mountains are calling and I must go." Super cheesy but also rings true in this girls heart.
I'm married to the absolute best man on this earth and we have two precious babies. We met working together at target, aka my second home, and got married in march of 2020 (yes, unfortunately we fell prey to COVID and our venue called to cancel our booking 1 week before our wedding date. We ended up eloping on my grandfather’s property and though it wasn’t what we had planned, it was perfect and it was ours:) My husband has always supported me in everything I do, and without him as my cheerleader I'm not sure I'd have taken the jump and followed a dream that started at 14, when I took photography as an extracurricular class.
I'm a lover of Jesus, all things iced coffee related (my all time fav is a vanilla sweet cream cold brew with two pumps of white chocolate mocha), golden hour, pink skies and clouds. I speak (fluently) in movie + tv show quotes, song lyrics, and vine references 24/7 and I’ve been called a goofball a time or two!!
To me, there is nothing better than cozying up with a cup of iced coffee snuggled up in a blanket on a cool fall day reading a book while watching my littles play. In a world that's so fast paced, taking time to live slow and capture and appreciate the small moments is so important to me.
"God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another."

HOW I GOT STARTED
My late godmother owned her own business as a barber for over 40 years and if i have anyone to credit for my work ethic it would be her. Because of her, I knew I wanted to be a business owner and work for myself, creating something from the ground up. I have always been into ANYTHING artsy, and my favorite thing is finding new ways to be creative. I remember being 8 or 9 and dreaming of being a fashion designer and I had a little sketchbook that I carried around with my own fashion designs in it. Thank the Lord almighty those sketches never saw the light of day, but if you haven’t guessed already, I’ve always been a big dreamer. Fast forward a few years later, I’m in middle school (homeschooled) and for fun, I chose Photography as an extracurricular class. Quickly, I fell in love with the ability to freeze a moment in time, and have a memory turn into a memento to hold onto forever. A hobby that I had into my teenage years when I was texting my best friend to get together JUST to have a little photoshoot, turned into a passion when I had my first baby and realized just how fast time flies and that pictures will be all thats left from your favorite season of your life. Little did my husband know when he bought me my very first camera that that decision would lead us here. I have been so blessed already through the people i have met through this job and the connections i get to make with my clients and other photogs around me.
WHAT TO EXPECT
During our session together, i aim to create an experience that feels like we're filming a movie of your love story. Creating art that's based off of genuine love and little moments that are often overlooked is part of the beauty of photography to me. There’s something so special about being able to photograph a genuine connection two people have, and how it’s unique to them and their relationship. One thing I’ve loved so far from feedback from my couples, is how much FUN they had during our time together. Hearing that makes my heart soar, because isn’t that what it’s all about?? I want this experience to feel like a super special date with your love, and I’m just y’alls favorite third wheel, along for the ride.
These are the moments we'll be showing our kids + grandkids when they ask what we looked like way back when. When they ask what our love story looked like, wouldn't it be incredible to be able to show them? Knowing these photos aren't just going to be loved for a year or two, but for over a lifetime makes me not only take this so seriously but it makes me so emotional. I truly don't think I'll ever get over it.
THANK YOU
I cannot thank you enough for being here. In my life, I have struggled to find my purpose. Again, I've always been a big dreamer and felt like I could do SO much with my life for the glory of God, my problem was just finding out what that was. And then my husband bought me my first camera. What started as a fun past time of taking photos of my kids quickly turned into a passion. I saw a creative outlet, and a meaningful experience of capturing others authentic emotion and important chapters of their story. Seeing my clients face when I show them a photo is a rush I will never get away from, and gratitude fills my heart. It’s not lost on me that not everyone gets to do something they love and I wouldn’t be here without any of you. I am committed to making every session feel like a dream come true because that's what this job is for me.
